The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of
Dr. Brené Brown. The method was designed for work with individuals, couples, families, work teams, and organizational leaders. It can be facilitated in clinical, educational, and professional settings. During the process we explore topics
such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. We examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding us back and we identify the new choices and practices that will move us toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead.

2. We’re going to practice vulnerability and empathy. Vanessa and Katie help create a safe and supportive space for you to show up as yourself, share your fears, and practice being vulnerable.

5. Apply the research of Brené Brown. Brené Brown has spent over 12 years gathering research on the topics of vulnerability, courage, worthiness, and shame. This work is a practical curriculum rooted out of Brené’s groundbreaking research that has been featured on PBS, NPR, CNN, and Oprah Winfrey’s Super Soul Sunday.
6. We talk about the tough stuff. After this workshop, you will understand the difference between shame, guilt, embarrassment, and humiliation.
7. Get in touch with your VALUES. What is really important to you in life? How do you know if you are living in congruency with your values, unless you’ve taken the time to identify your values? We will work on this.
